BEAUTY & FASHION INTERNSHIP

Prestige Artists is an international team of hairstylists, makeup artists, wardrobe stylists and photographers lead by creative director Sophia Lenore. Prestige Artists represent and foster the careers of the highest caliber talent in photography, creative direction, styling and beauty. With offices in Miami, and Berlin, Prestige Artists provides a full range of services to both its worldwide exclusive artists and clients, including full photo shoot production, syndication and licensing as well as the development of special projects such as recording artists and exhibitions.

We are looking for two detail-oriented and enthusiastic interns who are creative organized individuals for a minimum 3-month internship

The ideal applicant must have expertise in social and digital media across platforms such as Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest and must be able to effectively execute social media efforts, as well as contribute to the development of the company blog. There are many opportunities to work on site with our artists, so photography, filming/editing skills are preferred but not required. This is a great opportunity to learn from a team of some of the most uniquely creative individuals in the industry and gain exposure to other amazing creatives from around the world. The applicant must be attentive to detail, a strong writer, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment. Must be located in Miami.

Commitment: 15 hours per week

Position classification: Unpaid internship

REQUIREMENTS

• Available a minimum of three to four days per week
• Punctual attendance from 10:30am to 6pm
• Knowledge of MAC platform and Photoshop
• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Must be highly organized and proactive
• Must be responsive and efficient in handling daily requests
• Excellent computer skills
• Interest & knowledge of beauty, fashion, publishing and digital media including leading magazines and fashion blogs/ websites
• Thorough research and organization skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Filing all Photos of artists work in physical archive
• Uploading and organizing Look books archive and digital archive
• Creating and Editing artists portfolios when needed
• Assisting with production tasks; car services, catering, hotel reservations
• Arranging for messengers
• Assisting with creative research
• Help on photo shoot set when needed
• Outreach to brands for fashion/ beauty/ runway collaborations
• Creating Collages in Photoshop
• Day-to-Day Organizational Tasks
• Pickups and Loan Returns
• Graphic Design
• Writing Copy
• Photo-shoot setup and assistance
• Operational Assistance and Website Maintenance
• Work in tandem with PR team in setting and creating promotional packages/editor gifting/ EPK kits
• E-commerce, web development
• PR, special events, trunk shows
• photo editing, videography

Start Date: As soon as possible

This internship is part-time. School schedules can be accommodated, however candidates must be available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
